Introduction of Ni-SPAN-C 902(UNS N09902)
NI-SPAN-C Alloy 902 is a heat treatable alloy designed primarily to
obtain a constant modulus of elasticity in a useful temperature
range of -50°F to 150°F . The addition of titanium to the
nickel-chromium-iron alloy makes it hardenable by precipitation. It
has outstanding properties of elastic modulus control and high
strength, combined with unusually low drift and mechanical

Outstanding controllable thermoelastic coefficient characteristics
Can be processed to have constant modulus of elasticity from -45 to
+65ºC (-50 to +150ºF)
Good for springs in watches and weighing equipment

Diaphragms, leaf springs, helical springs, precision springs,
mechanical resonators, precision elastic components.

Stock items: cold drawn wire diameter 0.20, 0.35, 0.50mm, 0.75mm,
1.00mm in stock. Cold rolled strip thickness 0.1mm, 0.20mm and
0.30mm in stock.
